Duke Ellington Society Scholarship

Presented to a student in the third or fourth year of the Bachelor of Music program who demonstrates excellence in jazz composition or arranging. The student must be enrolled in at least one of the third or fourth-year jazz workshops, jazz orchestra, or jazz composition courses. The scholarship is supported by the Toronto Chapter of the Duke Ellington Society, which fosters the performance, study, and appreciation of Duke Ellington and his contemporaries.
The selected recipients will meet the following criteria:
- Must be in financial need
- Must be a Canadian citizen, a Permanent Resident or a Protected Person
- Must reside in Ontario
