The Marianne Eveline Orsan Memorial Scholarship for Paramedic Studies (Year 2)

Marianne was a graduate of the paramedic program at Humber Polytechnic which was her steppingstone to giving back to society and resulted in Marianna receiving both a Chief’s Commendation and Canada’s Governor General’s Emergency Medical Services Exemplary Service Medal.

This scholarship is to be presented to a second-year paramedic student who has achieved 80% in their first year, strong commitment to the community, and passion for the Paramedic program as evidenced from question responses. Applicants must have experience in community volunteerism, and possess a Canadian Red Cross, St. John Ambulance, or equivalent training certificate. Community volunteer experience may include a hospital, Red Cross or St. John’s Ambulance, a long-term care home, or other established care institutions.
