The Marianne Eveline Orsan Memorial Scholarship for Paramedic Studies (Year 1)

Marianne was a graduate of the paramedic program at Humber Polytechnic which was her steppingstone to giving back to society and resulted in Marianne receiving both a Chiefs Commendation and Canada’s Governor General’s Emergency Medical Services Exemplary Service Medal.

This scholarship is to be presented to a student entering the Paramedic program with an incoming GPA of at least 75%, strong commitment to the community, and passion for the paramedic program as evidenced from question responses. Applicants must have experience in community volunteerism, possess a Canadian Red Cross, St. John Ambulance, or equivalent training certificate. Community volunteer experience may include service with a hospital, the Canadian Red Cross, St. John Ambulance, a long-term care home, or another established healthcare or community care organization. Applicants must be Canadian citizens.
