Schulich Builders: Scholarships for Skilled Trades
Schulich Builders are responsible, hardworking, dedicated people who are enrolled in a full-time, eligible skilled trade one-year certificate or two-year diploma programs (eligible programs listed below) starting in Fall (September 2026). Successful recipients must be Canadian citizens and in financial need.
The selected applicant will demonstrate a strong work ethic and character, as evidenced by one letter of recommendation by someone directly connected to the student, and be willing to act as an ambassador and promote their career choice in the skilled trades and the Schulich Builders program in high schools and community outreach. Preference will be given to students applying directly from high school, although all students are welcome to apply. Your most recent transcripts, either from high school or college/university if you are a transfer student.

- Electrical Techniques, Ontario College Certificate
- Cabinetmaking Techniques, Ontario College Certificate
- Mechanical Techniques – Millwright, Ontario College Certificate
- Plumbing Techniques, Ontario College Certificate
- Welding Techniques Ontario College Certificate
- Industrial Woodworking Technician Diploma
- Building Construction Technician Diploma
- Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician Diploma
- Landscape Technician Diploma
- Electrical Engineering Technician – Trades Diploma
- Mechanical Technician – Millwright Diploma
- Plumbing Technician Diploma
- Welding Engineering Technician – Robotics Diploma
Renewal Criteria: Scholarship recipients must pass each semester and stay in their chosen program in order to keep their scholarship.
