Global News Scholarship
IMPORTANT NOTE: To qualify for this scholarship, students must log into <a href=""https://humber.ca/myhumber/"" target=""_blank"">MyHumber, click on Student Awards and Financial Aid, and then choose Apply for Financial Aid.
Presented to a second-year student in the Journalism degree, Journalism diploma, or Journalism grad certificate program, who self-identifies as Black/ African, and has demonstrated excellence in their studies, and is involved in the community. Preference for a student who also self-identifies as having a disability and/or demonstrates financial need and/or is pursuing post-secondary studies for the first time. The recipient must be a Canadian citizen or a Canadian permanent resident.
