Award for Leadership and Academic Excellence in Nursing
This award recognizes a student enrolled in a nursing program within the Faculty of Health & Life Sciences, including the Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Practical Nursing programs.
Applicants must demonstrate the following:
- A strong academic achievement, maintaining a minimum GPA of 80%, along with a high level of proficiency in the understanding and application of nursing theory and clinical practice.
- Exhibit outstanding leadership qualities through active engagement in the Humber community and/or the broader health sciences community.
- Show the ability to effectively work alongside and learn from professionals across diverse health science disciplines.
- Display a passion for nursing and a strong commitment to the profession’s values and standards. They should actively contribute to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment in both academic and clinical settings.
