The G.L. and S.S.D. Legacy Scholarship
Presented to a student enrolled in the Hospitality – Hotel and Restaurant Operations Management diploma program who demonstrates outstanding excellence and embodies the spirit and legacy of two individuals, the scholarship donor’s deceased partner and her deceased father. The recipient must be recognized as a strong team player who fosters collaboration and mutual support, and who demonstrates a motivating and enthusiastic attitude while actively advocating for equity and the fair treatment of all individuals. In addition to these qualities, the student must also exhibit a high level of academic achievement and meaningful community involvement, whether within Humber or in the broader community. To be eligible for this scholarship, the student must self-identify as an Indigenous person, a racialized person, or a member of the Black/African community.
