Presented to a second year student in the Mechanical Engineering program who demonstrates the ability to apply mechanical engineering principles and best practices; understands mechanical problems and uses
their skills to solve these problems; demonstrates a full understanding of mechanical components and systems design; is able to read and understand mechanical 2D and 3D drawings; participates in extracurricular
activities outside of the class such as applied research,
technical clubs, other clubs and/or is involved in the community.
