Anthony Longo Scholarship in Business Leadership

The Anthony Longo Scholarship in Business Leadership is awarded annually to an entrepreneurial-minded student who demonstrates academic excellence, extraordinary leadership potential, and has the career aspiration to become a future business leader The successful recipient will hold honours standing (GPA of 80%+) and be in their final year of the Business Administration Advanced Diploma program. Although not a requirement, preference will be given to a student who plans to continue their post-secondary studies in a Bachelor of Commerce program within the Longo Faculty of Business.”

A letter of reference from an instructor, advisor, or employer attesting to the applicant’s entrepreneurial activities and leadership skills is required. Students will provide a short brief of their business idea and illustrate their leadership contributions made inside and outside of the classroom through their response to a series of essay-style questions during the application process. This scholarship was established by the Longo Family Foundation in honour of Anthony Longo (Business Administration, 1982), a distinguished alumnus of Humber College, Canadian business leader, and recognized as one of the most admired CEOs in the country. The recipient will be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person.
