Presented to a third-year student in the Journalism advanced diploma program specializing in magazines, who has high academic achievement, possesses enthusiasm, a positive attitude, a good work ethic, and is full of energy and fun, like Shirley-Anne.

The selected recipients will meet the following criteria:

• Must be in financial need
• Must be a Canadian citizen, a Permanent Resident or a Protected Person
• Must reside in Ontario
